           I was stationed in Mainz Germany for over 3 years in the service of the US Army.

          I also was able to go to the field in Baumholder Germany and many other locations throughout West Germany.  Usually for up to three weeks at a time.

                          One of my memories of Reforger from my perspective.

One strange memory that flows into my head. While we were in the field one of my duties was to go ahead of the main force and do testing for chemical and biology.

To do this we were put in an open-moving vehicle and while riding forward of the line for testing. We hit a big bump and my steel pot went flying because we were in protective masks. No one heard and we could not stop anyway. Then when we returned they tried to charge me for it.
